Limits and risks
The honest list of what Cuckoo cannot do.
Not "exactly block N"
The chain's sequencer decides what goes in which block. Cuckoo guarantees the window, and pays for being early in it. The precision that keepers actually reach on Robinhood Chain is to be measured (cuckoo measure) and published with its numbers.
Latency still matters, for keepers
The fastest keeper wins the most. What changes is who carries the burden: not you. If one operator has a large advantage, most eggs will be carried by that operator.
Keepers need a private RPC
The public Robinhood RPC challenges clients that send many requests (we hit it ourselves while measuring). A serious keeper needs a private endpoint or its own node.
Eggs are readable
See Security model.
ETH only, no token sells
This version spends ETH from escrow. Selling tokens needs allowances and is not included.
Simulations see one block earlier
A dry run executes in the latest block; the real transaction lands one block later. A window edge can differ between the two.
A refused egg still costs the keeper gas
That is why rewards exist. Set maxReward above a keeper's gas, or nobody has a reason to carry the egg.
